The Technical & Business Development Engineer will serve as the technical backbone of the company while also driving new business opportunities. This hybrid role combines deep engineering expertise in pumps and water management systems with the strategic capability to evaluate, develop, and expand new business opportunities. The role is critical to ensure successful execution of ongoing projects and the exploration of new markets and solutions related to water infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
A.Technical Support & Engineering
- Act as the in-house technical expert on pumps, pump systems, and water management solutions.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and resolve engineering challenges in ongoing projects, including installation, design optimization, and operational issues.
- Support and supervise outsourced installation, production, and service teams, ensuring compliance with technical standards.
- Review, verify, and optimize system designs (hydraulic calculations, pump selection, energy efficiency, etc.).
- Work closely with the Project and Service teams to ensure project delivery meets performance and quality expectations.
B.Business Development & Feasibility
- Identify and analyze new business opportunities in water-related industries (flood control, irrigation, industrial water, wastewater, renewable energy-water integration, etc.).
- Conduct feasibility studies, market research, and competitor analysis to evaluate the viability of potential projects.
- Develop cost-benefit models and risk assessments for new business ventures.
- Support senior management in building strategic partnerships with local and international technology providers.
- Provide technical input during business negotiations, tenders, and proposals.
C.Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Marketing & Sales teams to translate technical solutions into customer value propositions.
- Support the executive team in strategic planning by providing technical and market insights.
- Act as a bridge between technical operations and business strategy, ensuring both perspectives are aligned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA or additional business training is a plus.
- Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in pump systems, water infrastructure projects, or fluid mechanics engineering.
- Proven exposure to business development, feasibility studies, or strategic planning.
- Experience working with outsourced teams or contractors is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, water system design, and related engineering standards.
- Ability to conduct market and financial feasibility analyses.
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills (technical and business language).
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
- Fluent in Thai and English (spoken and written).

- Reports directly to COO/CEO
- Works cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Project Management, and Service Departments
