GRP pipe or Glass Reinforced Polyester Pipe (GRP) is a pipe that uses polyester resin, glass fiber filament reinforcement, and silica sand as the main raw materials. GRP pipe has a property of good corrosion resistance, rustproof, lightweight, and useful life of longer than 50 years.
Manufacturing technology that Thai GRP uses is Filament Winding. It is a system that uses modern technology to design and control continuation of winding angle and number of layers in winding glass fiber filament reinforcement enabling quality control in manufacturing each pipe in terms of stability, stiffness, and deformation as well as pressure load to comply with international standards.
